Default I had a Pilot Spinks Akromaster once

I really liked the Pilot series kits. They were good builders. In both of them I had built however, the flight characteristics had to be worked through. The akromaster had a weird characteristic, It didn't ever have a glide slope. When you landed you had to fly it in. It never settled on it's own in landing. If you tried to line up with the runway and cut the throttle, it would slow down at the same altitude then snap in.

That was my experience.

I flew one of those back around 1985 for a while. MIne was covered exactly like the box. Very fun plane. I dont remember what motor I had in it though.
I thought it flew really well with no bad habits..
