Default Lazy Bee kit

I started my Lazy Bee kit last week. Lots of fun! I am really supprsed how strong the fuselage is. I am really taking my time with it and trying to do it right. I have an auto gyro conversion kit coming in from Auto Gyro of Arizona. That will be cool. I will have to take off the .15 and either drop in a .25 Magnum or a .30 four stroke because I will need the extra power for the auto gyro. I want to add a pilot. Any suggestions?

I am thinking of either Snoopy or Jimmy Nuetron.

I started covering the Bee today and I made landing gear that will hold the nose up a little so I can use a larger prop for my four stroke plus...I dropped the engined down about 1/2" so there wont be any fuel siphoning back to the tank problems. The new landing gear also gives me a positive angle of attack and it is wider too!

Why are you putting a gyro in it?

Darren....not a gyro.....gyro rotors.....like a helicopter, but the pbades spin from the forward movement of the plane.....this produces lift which acts like a wing. It has a servo mounted beneith which tilts the rotor blades to the left and right 20 degrees each way which turns the plane like ailerons. It is very cool and cant wait to fly it!

Hey guys!!!! I finished it!!!! I had some time today to get it done finally. I have been waiting to put some red and white checkers on something so I thought the Lazy Bee would be the perfect subject. I may do the same with the elevator...not sure. The new landing gear will make life a lot more easier.

Just wanted to post some photos so everyone would not think I am total slacker! The Gyro Bee attachment is NEXT!!!!!
