Default Engine Thrust Angles

Hi,

I am building a CA Models Extra 300 24% scale and I need to know what the thrust angle is for the engine. Does the thrust angle go right or left as viewed from the tail?

I bought this kit semi finished and found that the thrust angle is currently pointed left as viewed from the tail.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Jedi

Viewed from top and behind, planes would generally need right thrust. I only know of one plane (small electric) that needed left thrust.

Why did the seller sell this kit? Perhaps it was because he realised he had built in left thrust, and decided it was too much bother to correct.

Daniel,

Thanks for the info, I just got my email from CA Models and they said to use 1.5 degrees right and 0 degrees up or down.

I plan on using a Magnum XL-180 AR 2 stroke.

Sprink, Thanks for the information. The model was sold to me by a guy who quit planes to pursue helicopters instead.

Thanks every one again for your help

Good luck to set 1.5 degrees thrust, except if you have a laser machine!!
Maybe Senior Marcelo meant 1 to 5 degrees...
