RE: conversion for pica1/6 mustang to B model
Not to my knowledge, Dan. I just finished the old, out of production, Top Flite P-51b, which I bought off eBay. It was supposed to come with the b model canopy. It didn't. And I can tell you it is next to impossible to locate one. If you could find the canopy, you could pretty well scratch-build the turtle deck to make the conversion.

Top Flite makes a D to B conversion kit for the Gold Edition P 51, 60 size plane. I am not sure if that is of any help. I have seen the conversion kit in the forums for about $25.00. Might want to check the Top Flite web site to see if the canopy is available as a seperate part. Good Luck, Dave

The fit between the Top Flite and the Pica would be my biggest concern. If the wing spans are close, then it should be workable.
As I recall, in my panic to find a canopy for my "b" model, I found that Morris Hobbies sells an ARF, and I bought the canopy, which was too large, plus it did not have the rounded rear portion.
I was fortunate to find out that an old RC friend had a partially completed kit stored in his attic that I could get the "b" canopy out of.

Same problem I ran into. No, it won't work. I thought about carving a plug and vacumn forming my own, but that is a lot of work. Good luck, hope you find a solution.
