Default Balsa Nova Throws

Does anyone have the Lo/Hi throws and CG recommendation for a kit built .40 size Morris Hobbies Balsa Nova. Thanks.

Splais,

The Morris Hobbies Balsa Nova .40 "ARF" manual lists;

Ailerons: 3/8" each way
Elevators: 5/8" each way
Rudder: 3 to 3-1/2" each way.

Use these as your low rates and increase to your taste for high.

The CG is 4-1/2" from the front of the wing/belly pan.

I checked an old BN .40 kit I've got and the manual says to refer to the plans. I checked the plans;

Ailerons: 15* each way
Elevators: 13* up and 15* down
Rudder: 42* each way
* = Degrees

The CG on my plan measured exactly 4-9/16" from the leading edge back. They state to balance within 1/4" of this mark.

I hope this helps you.
