Would any one know of any professional builders in the State of Georgia who just builds planes for a living, or are retired with time on there hands to build? I'm looking for a possible builder this year on a Top Flite Giant Scale P-51D. Full detail, "operational gear doors through-out" (Mains & Tail). NO monokote plastic "apply heat gun" every day finish , but a cloth and glass finish that is spray painted on giving a nice "metal" finish. Panel lines, rivets...etc.
I would pretty much supply the kit, servos, engine, retracts and whatever else is needed. I need to do an itemization break-down in the future...This is the preliminary search.
I've attached some pictures of the exact scheme I would like..."The Blue Nose Basta#ds" Mustang Aces of the 352nd Fighter Group. (Had to add the # to replace the R, system wont let word go through). The first piture is Top Flites Scheme...I like that blue tail too. Thanks in advance. I'll discuss the details once a prospect contacts me. [sm=thumbup.gif]

Start cashing in your 401 and cd's. I don't have the nerves to fly a $4,000 to 5,000.00 scale plane. At a minimum 15/hr billing rate and about 400+ hrs. to work in the details you want, farming out the work won't come cheap. My billing rate was 35/hr before I semi-retired; so your project could match the national debt. Oh forgot to add in your supplied parts (kit, engine and that electric stuff)
