golberg CHIP, ASTRO hog, engine size

The Goldberg Super Chipmunk might fly with a .46, but it will not be super any more. I have flown mine on a ASP .61, K&B .61, .65, ST .61, .75, .90. For everyday flying the 60's worked the best.

Nix the 46 idea. Both planes will require a 61. The Chipmunk I believe suggests a 46 will fly it. Not so iy will get it off the ground and fly it around is all. The Astrohog has alot of drag. You will need the 61. i saw the GB Chippie fly on a Supertiger 61 and it flew fantastic. My Astro hog will have a Saito 80 on it. Go with a good 61 on both and you will like them.

I have the World C.munk which appears to be a direct copy.
I had a .91 fourstroke on it initially, but it was not enough for my tastes. Seems to do much better with a .91 Super Tiger Two Stroke.
I wouldn't even consider a .46 for this plane.
