Default Birdi Old Timer -- Is this a good Kit?

I was thinking about ordering this kit. I have heard good things about the Birdi line of kits, but I myself have never built one. Has anyone out in the RC Universe built this kit? I was thinking about using a gas conversion engine on it. Either a Ryobi 31cc or a Homelite 33cc engine.

I am going to use a Polyester material for covering along with an exterior latex paint. I think this would look more natural for the kind of kit it is. It kind of looks like a German WW1 Eindecker.

Thanks
