Default C130 kit

I am looking for a C-130 rc aircraft kit to build. I am a navigator in the USCG flying C-130's in Kodiak Alaska, Unfortunately, very little info is available out their For the best aircraft in the world! Any suggestions or points in the right direction would be very helpful. Prefer gas powered but have not ruled out electric. Please reply to [email protected],

Thanks in advance.

Theres a gentleman on ebay selling plans for USCG C-130 don't remember WS. Check Palmer plans, and I think Century jets has a kit its a bit spendy. Skip mast had a nice set of plans ,but I don't off the top of my head remember were you can get them.

I have the Quality Fiberglass C-130 kit, and am very satisfied with it. Fiberglass fuse, foam sheeted wings & horiz. stab, 102" wingspan. I really love that CG paint scheme, but, being ex-Air Force, had to go with an AC-130 Spectre scheme. Check out the C-130 thread on the Twin/multi forum. Some are building from plans, some have the JHH kit, and others have the Quality Fiberglass kit.

A former student of mine just rotated back from Kodiak to Elizabeth City, NC about a year ago. He is a Herk crew member. (don't know exactly in what capacity). Name is Andy Miller. Don't guess you knew him, did you?
Good luck on your plane. (both of them)

How big do you want it and how much do you want to spend?

If you want it big and cost is not a problem, then check out this link:

http://www.scalercmodels.com/modernmilitarykits.html

Scroll down a little and you'll see it - all 133.7" of it! (Better bring a whole wad of cash for this one.)

http://www.qualityfiberglass.net/

They're located in Cookville, Tenn. It's a very reasonable kit.

Thanks for all the help.
I have found alot of decent info and printed the forum postings. Andy Miller sounds familiar to me, we may have been stationed together at one point. Thanks again for all the info and sources. Now time to buy
