Default eindecker E111 top pylon (swg size)

Hi,

Just would like some feed back on a 45 size e111,that i am building from a plan.
The top cabane pylon has no swg wire size given,i am thinking of useing some 8swg (3mm) wire to use,ive already bent up two sizes the other in 10swg (4mm),the later in my opinion is alittle thick, but would like your suggestions on which one would be suitable,im looking at the 3mm as a good choice!.the aircraft will have working rigging, with a span of 60" for reference.

Many thanks, looking forward to your suggestions

Mark

My immediate reaction is that 3 mm sounds very large for a 45 size airplane. All of the wire rigging and control on my 84" Stampe SV-4 Biplane was .010 U control wire (about .3mm)
