Default Elevator and Rudder Help

Hi All,

Okay, I'm in the last steps of finishing my bipe (Dreamer) and have a question abour the Elevator and Rudder.

At this time, all I have done is shaped the leading edges of the surfaces (rounded them), the rest of the surface is virgin flatness all the way down the cord to the trailing edge. My question is this,....do I need to shape them into any sort of airfoil shape or can they remain flat all the way to the trailing edge? There isn't any suggestions in the "Instructions" and the blueprints don't say anything either. (Then again, they didn't say anything about how to put in the servos either!).

Once again, any and all advice is appreciated!

You don't have to shape the rest of the surface. Just the LE's are fine

Just dropped by to confirm what BARTO said ! Just round the Leading Edges and leave the Trailing Edges square. Good advice !

Thanks Guys......just wanted to make sure........

I finally got to fly my trainer today (Yay!!!!!!!!!) A little windy (10-15 Mph, gusts to 20) here in Central NJ, but man, what a beautiful day! Started with the two of us (Instructor and I) and left with 6 other Members at the field. Hopefully it will be this way next Saturday.
