Can anyone tell me whether Balsacraft are still making kits or have they gone out of business like so many other kit makers.

They went under two or three years ago. Ripmax bought the rights and shop etc, hence the Limbo Dancer and Extream lite etc in ARTF format.

Any particular model you looking for? If you ring round all the smaller hobby shops, you may find it. eg I know that one of my local ones - Mick Charles Models - has a street machine or two.

I wanted to get my hands on the Grumman Bearcat they did. It seems such a shame that everyone wants artf these days

Actually I think it is only the distributors who think that everyone wants ARTFs these days. The majority of the keen modellers at my club prefer kits.

As I say if you ring round you may find one.
