Default Sig 4* 60 Question

Does anyone know how a magnum .91 four stroke will work on a sig 4* 60?

I run a .91 four-stroke on my 4*60. It is a very good match-up.

Speaking of 4*'s, I just maidened a kit built 40 size today. I'm running a .46FX in it, which provides plenty of power. It has dual aileron servos laid side by side at the wing center. It proved nose heavy, even with the engine all the way back on the mounts, and the battery as far back as possible. It's just a tad nose heavy though, and a little trim job fixed the problem. I hate adding lead to a model, but might try it on this one. It doesn't seem to want to roll very well, and I don't know what the problem is there. My 60 size rolls well.
Anyway proprunner, when you get that 4* in the air, report back and fill us in with the details. Good luck.

I have the magnum 91 4 stroke mounted on my 4*60 and it flies the plane great. You won't have unlimited vertical with it but the engine will haul the plane around very nicely. My magnum engine runs great and the only time I have had a deadstick is when I was having so much fun flying that I ran it out of fuel. Very nice engine and plane combo.

Tim,
If you built the wing stock the roll rate will be sluggish. That wing is really much longer than it needs to be for a great flying plane. The longer wing will also make the plane want to float forever on landings.

Mine has one rib bay removed form both wings, and the roll rate is improved quite a bit. The plane still lands like a trainer; you have to be patient waiting for it to settle in.

By the way, I fly mine with a Magnum 52 (54?) four stroke. (It's the 4 * 40) Also a nice combination.
