I'm finishing my Funtana 40. I have a Saito 72. There isn't enough room between the carb and firewall to use the supplied pushrod inside the plastic tube. I was thinking of cutting a bigger hole and using a carbon fiber rod which doesn't require support or something like that.

Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.
