Here's my Easy sport 40 I did a couple of years ago and Ed Moorman had in his column. Highly modified control surfaces, wing shortened and 50% of the dihedral removed. ST .45 and futaba radio and yes that's graphics on the wings and tail from australia.

This is a pic of my balsausa taube90. It is my first cover job. I used solartex antique. The maltese crosses are painted on using wallmart $. 89 black gloss. Alot of curves on the wing but using medium heat worked best.

Heres some photos of various Planes that I have covered. One is a Great Planes Trainer .40 I covered in Monokote if I remember right. The other is an old Stick .60 with a cockpit and engine cheeks added and Covered in Monokote. The other is a Sig LT-40 I covered in Low Temp Towerkote(I personally would never use Towerkote again). The other is my Great Planes Extra 300s that is covered in Ultrakote(My favorite to cover with).

Hi Fred owsome covering is giving me a good idea. The rest of you guys did also an awsome covering.
I tried to put my pic in the forum but it didn't work I would like to share it with you guys.
I actually did not do the cover but a friend of mine neighbord did it. Next time I connect I will try to put all the picture together of all the planes starting with the Easy Sport and lates with the Sig 4* 60 plane, and hopefully with the Something Extra plane.

Nice job on hog Bipe. What did you cover with. Did the edges stay sealed. BTW how does it fly. Just finished scratch Astro Hog...rubber banded stab and all. Haven't flown yet. Do you still have plans of bipe? Just wrote note in KIT BUILD about saving laser cutout sheets for scratch builder. Trying to get my club to create a library of cutout sheets. Glen

ysrcflyer,
Please put in some more pic on your Extra. As you might recall I too have this plane that is now in covering stage. Would like to see how you did go about some of the detail on your bird.

Cheers for the pictures,
Na mate, cheeseheads is a beutiful Wisconsin tradition. No one should steal that from you guys. If we would have one here it is probably a stolen idea or just one of your country men on visit.
I like your Greenbay plane.

T'was an ARF until I stalled it on a deadstick landing. So, I recovered it!!! All covering is Monokote, all plastics and f/glass painted with Lustrekote to match. Simple but effective sheme helps with tossin' an' turnin' acro.

RE: Good covering jobs!
Excuse the interruption... hope you don't mind... But I figured some people who know something about covering would be reading this thread.
I posted a question here earlier, that got moved to the Question and Answer board, but over there, I've gotten one answer that said Yes, and one that said No...
That questions being... can I cover a model with Ultracote (Oracover) and use Monokote over it as trim?
The Oracover has the reputation for being easier to work with, and has some patterned rolls that I'd like to use for the major covering, but there are Monokote colors I'd like to use for trim, and the Lusterkote paints evidently actually Match (for doing cowel and pants) and actually cure, unlike what I've read about Hangar 9's limited selection of paints.
So, which is it?

RE: Good covering jobs!
I wouldn't try it. Monokote almost always takes more heat than ultrakote. One soultion would be to use monokote then trim with ultrakote. But the best idea would be to buy monokote trim sheets, (I think the trim sheets come in every color ) and use them. Also here is a picture of my latest covering job.
