Default thinking winter project already!!!

Hello all, I am already looking forward to building a new plane next winter!! I want to build one of the Balsa USA WWI planes. (probably the EindeckerIII 90 size). My question is for suggestions on the covering. They mentioned Solartex as a covering. I will need a fuel proof, (up to 15% nitro), for the covering. I don't have paint spray equipment and really don't want to invest in that. This plane calls for colors of desert tan or light olive drab, and some white and red trim areas. I have covered only one plane. It was Ultracoat and it went well. These colors need to be flat, at least the tan or olive drab does, and it is about 90% of the area. I have heard that the fabric is hard to keep clean. Does Solartex have a web site? Any input will be greatly appreciated.. thanks...lownslo..

lownslo, I covered a Smith Mini Bipe with White Solartex, gave it three light coats of flat Varathane to seal and painted on the red sunburst with Tremclad-two light coats by brush. The Solartex wipes clean pretty easily and has stayed nice and white. All in all the covering looked pretty good (my 2nd attempt) and the plane flies great. FWIW
