My Split 280 should be here within the week, but I'm not really here to share my building tips. I was just wondering how you've done with yours, how if flies...etc. Any info would be great!

i just finished building my split, i wish i would have bought a diffrent plane. it flys good for what it is, its not terribly fast, i'd say my sky scooter 2 is about the same if not faster.
its an easy build, VERY TOUCHY elevator, set it at the lowest throw unless you run expo.
make sure its balanced alittle forward , around 50mm or it tip stalls, and they are ugly. wind hates this plane
i didnt put the canopy on. and i think i'll endup shaving off the top rear of the fuse to make it flat and then sand it to a round profile lighter and less air resistance.
