I just ordered this kit and was hoping to find someone here that has built and flown this. I have a 31cc gas conversion engine I was hoping to us with this kit. It should come in around 15.5 lbs with 1440 sq in wing area so it should fly OK.

I was hoping to find out if there are anything I should know about the kit before I get started. Any and all comments are appreciated.
Thanks

A friend of mine built his last winter, builds like a typical Dynaflite, it's a builders kit. He had an ASP .75 on it and couldn't get it to run right, but had plenty of power when it was flying the few times he had it up with that engine. Later he went with a .91 Surpass on it, and loves it. Both Engines were more than enough, and flew it well. I am not sure about a 35cc on this, anyone else fly one with Gas? If your weight is ok, and she will be on the CG ok, then I say go for it. I flew it the other day, and it's very gentle, and flies nice and slow-very scale. Be alert on the take-offs, and quick on the rudder, as with any WWI Tail dragger. Have a blast! This baby looks awesome in the air!!!

Thanks for the feed back. From your post I believe I would loss to much by putting a heavy 31cc gasser in this kit. I have a good running Magnum XL 75 and a Super Tigre 91. I will use one of these engines in it. I read on the Dynaflite web page that see flies more scale like with the engine the smaller rated engines. I do plan to put a 91 4 stroke in her when I can afford to buy one. But for now the 75 or 91 2 stroke will do.
Thanks
