Default Sig SE - Modify or not?

Been without an SE for a few weeks now and getting withdrawal symptoms (so is my Irvine 53), so I've bought another kit.

Just been looking over some of the posts about modifications, especially to elevator and rudder and am wondering whether to try something myself.

Seems like a number of people out there have made some changes, I would be very interested in hearing from you as to whether you think they made a difference (good or bad) and if you would do the same again.

BTW, some great colour schemes on members SE's, I shall most certainly looking to steal the fruits of someone else's creativity.

After all, why do original work when you can plagiarise??
