I've seen a fiber glass one somewhere but it was kinda spendy. One guy from this site made a cowl for his 4 Star. Did an awesome job finishing it to. He has directions on his web site, that I can't remember, for making a cowl. Might be able to use the same technique for your SE cowl if you choose to make one? Sorry can't help you more but didn't want this thread to die.
