Default Dreamer Bipe

HELP, HELP, HELP.
Guys I picked up a GeeBee Dreamer Bipe from a guy but he never put the Cabain Struts on the wings. I either need a set of plans or something to make this right. I don't want to fly this puppy without the struts. If anyone can help me that would be great.

The cabanes are the Fuselage mounted struts. Those interconnecting the wings are the interplane struts. PM MikeSell, he has recently built one.

Bruce,...

I had three Dreamers in my time. The first one never had the interplane struts on it. I flew the heck out of that little plane. Those short little wings really don't need them, (in my opinion, of course). But feel free to make your own decision on that. I'd just hate to see you agonize (and not be flying the plane) over something you really don't need.

Sincerely,
Steve T.

The interplaner struts on the Dreamer are non functional. If built according to plan they aren't very attractive either. I built them so I will use them but they may be more of a pain than they are worth.
Was the socket built into the wing? The builder would have had to build it to accomodate the strut for standard ones to work. At this point it may not be easy to retro fit these in. Do a search for dreamer in this forum and you will find a thread with numerous pictures.
