My son has just gotten this kit and was looking for any information pertaining to the construction of the plane and power plants for it. Thanks in advance, Dave

He has not yet built much less flown the plane. I am not sure what you are asking about? Thanks Dave

Great building and flying plane...only thing I did different was on the foredeck and turtledeck I put 1/4 sq balsa along the top of the fuse sides and cut the 1/32 plywood short so that I wouldnt have the goofy looking overlap to the fuse sides...just bevel the 1/4 sq balsa to match the angle needed ...contact cemented the 1/32 plywood on then filled the gap on each side with filler....

Mine is powered with a Moki 2.1 w/ 20/8 Prozinger prop...good luck and have fun----lands like a trainer

You're going to cut the ailerons out of the wing. In order to avoid having to measure anything, this is what I did: When you pull the wing up off the building board, before you sheet the opposite side, make pin holes next to the aileron spars and the doubler on the inboard portion of the wing. Once the wing is sheeted completely, transfer the pin holes to the opposite side and then cut the ailerons.

Also, when I was sheeting the wing, I used super glue on the wing ribs, but used wood glue on the skin butt joints for easier sanding. Consider using square stock to reinforce the aileron servo cut outs as well.
