Default what kit

I'm looking for info what a good first kit to build.. I have built many AFRs but want to try to build a 40 or 60 size plane this winter.. Would like any help full info on what you guys may think...I was thinking of SIG somethin Extra or a great planes extra 300... Thanks for the help........Kurt

Built them both...... the Sig Something Extra is a no brainer; best cut kit I've ever built. You will have no problem with it.... on the other hand, The GP Extra300 is marginal at best as kits go. THe sheeting is very thin and the wood provided is less than good at times.... GO SIG.

I agree with Navy18. SIG makes great kits. The wood is top notch, instructions are well-done with plenty of photos. I'm assuming that you fly pretty well since you are looking at aerobats, but any of their stuff would be good.
