Like I need another plane. Well, you know how it is, not a matter of need. Right? RighT? I ordered a Sig Citabria kit and wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with this plane. Any heads up on building or flying? Mods to make if better? Thanks in advance.

Call Bruce Tharpe at BTE. When he worked for Sig, he re-did that kit to improve it. He details that on another site, but since the competitor police are lurking around here I'm not sure which links are "okay" to post and which are not. I had thought RCU was past all that nonsense, but apparently not.
And they also zap offending links in PMs. Tried that last night.
But if you'll look for "R/C Flight Unlimited", under kit reviews, you might find it...
I was thinking about this one myself, and ended up with a vintage SkyBolt kit I found on FleaBay. Both of us have our work cut out for us...

Norm, I understand perfectly you addiction, just like you, I just ordered a 1/4 scale Laser 200, on top of the 5 planes that still need to be built, there is no cure for this addiction. I spend money on planes and my wife on shoes

The other day on the heli forum, a fellow was asking about a new, recently-released machine.
Once thriving, the heli forum here on RCU does not;, well, let's just say practically all of the experienced people who used to hang out there have left.
I directed the guy to a another heli-specific site, where this new machine is a topic of extensive discussion. Either a moderator or in-place filters bleeped the link. And when I tried to send it to the guy via PM, it was bleeped again.
You mentioned competitors. Trust me, this site is absolutely NO threat to RCU. It is not even the largest or best heli-only site. Therefore, the censorship is, IMO, petty BS. There is more to this, but no need to drag out dirty laundry.
I had thought certain people here had risen above this sort of chicanery...[&o]
