I recently purchased an old Royal kit for the Spitfire (Jr).
The kits in fine ship except the instructions are missing.
Anyone have access to the instructions for this kit?

Rudy,
Did your plans have the layout for both wings?
I guess I could invert the plan over a backlit glass but is there an easier way?
Thanks.

My plans only had the one wing. An expert builder told me about a trick that worked just fine: to build the other wing, turn the plans over, task eome 3-in-one oil, and spread a bit over the lines. They showed through just fine, and with wax paper over top, the oil was no problem.

From: Hodgenville, KY,
Very interesting!
There is already a very large 'oily' spot on the plans.
It never occured to me to investigate why this was there.
I just figured it was an accident.
As I always say, you could start a whole new world on what I don't know.
Thanks very much.
You've gotten my courage up a little more. :-)

The Royal Jr. was my 3rd build, and it was quite a challenge (first attempt at managing retracts, for one thing, and the instructions for the kit are pretty sparse). I've flown it successfully though, and its quite fun. Good lcuk and enjoy the build!

Thanks for the feedback.
I'm thinking about getting into the RC mainstream and getting out some kits I've had for some time.
Looks like all my 'makers' are obsolete now.
Guess that will just make the build that much more enjoyable.
Was reminiscing the other day and realized I was introduced to model building over 60 years ago.
My Uncle, on furlough from the Pacific, worked on a kit he 'gave me'.
I was in there amongst it all.
And at the age of three, I can guarantee you I was effective!
That did spark an interest however.
Thanks again for making my reentry just a little more enjoyable.
Good luck with your endeavor also.
