Staggerwing Beech

Dont know of a kit. But do a search on staggerwing and you will see my previous post on the RCM plans. There has been a pretty good amount of talk about it recently. Might get what you need from there.

Marutaka makes a staggerwing beech. These are the old Royal kits. They are available from Hobbybarn here in the states and other sources outside the states.

I have built 3 of the Maratake kits and have 3 more (Staggerwing too) still in boxes.
If you have a few kits under your belt, you will have no problems. Lots of planking to make the round fuselage. My Bearcat was similar construction and it took about a week of solid nights to get the fuselage planked.
You'll find that it's actually an enjoyable experience when you get it done and those Maratake kits come out so pretty.

I realize this is an old thread but...
I am working on cutting a few Staggerwing kits.
It is 1/6 scale with a wing span of 64". Very scale construction.
It is a builders plane.

I had an old Pilot Staggerwing for .30-.40 engines, with a 48" span. Beautiful scale kit... Sold it , but you can find 'em once in a great while on eBay. Expect to pay $150-$200 for it, though. There's another old kit who's manufacturer's name escapes me that is seen a little more often and goes more in the $100.00 and under range.
