Default Sig 1/4 J-3 Cub

I am about to start the Sig 1/4 J-3 cub and would like to make the wings fully removeable from the center section using a nested aluminun tub.
Has any one done this and if so can you let me know how it turned out and how you did it.

Why do it that way? The aluminum wing tube that Sig uses is plenty strong, doesn't detract from scale appearance, and allows complete removal of wings for transport.

The kit I have is old and does not include any alum. tube.
I will have to call SIG and find out about the kit you are referring to.
Thank you.

Make the wing one-piece and use a normal truck like the F150 for transpot.
