What is up with Ikon???
Ok, here is why I dislike these people. I sent them an email about a year ago asking about their Champ and the Beaver. I got no response. So What! But I buy an Ikon Beaver and need some info on it, so I write to them and it went like this:
I recently bought an Ikon Beaver from a club member, but I don’t know what the CG or the control throws are. Can you help me with this info? Thank you
I got an immediate response from them:
We will respond to your request within 24 hours.
Thank you.
9 days later, after I hear nothing, I write this:
Dang, 24 hours was 8 days ago. This is the second time that I have written
you and have been ignored. Thanks for great customer service!
.
This is what I got back:
> We will respond to your request within 24 hours.
> Thank you.

RE: What is up with Ikon???
The prior owner, Mr Neely died recently after a very long illness, thus the problems in quick response.
I have been told the entire business has been sold to a Spokane Washington man who plans on starting it back up soon.
Emil Neeley was a club member at one time and did come to our field at times, health permitting, oxygen bottle and all. He was a nice person who will be missed by all.
Hope this clears up the mystery some.....
