what kind of paint do i need to get to paint my cowling
i have a sig kadet mark ll it has a injection molded plastic cowling and i did not know what kind of paint would be fule prouf

You can use any of the paints your LHS carries for glow planes - Lusterkote, 21st century just to name two.
Or you can use regular Krylon and cover it with a spray polyurethane to fuel proof it.

I like the Hangar 9 paint. I have tried Lusterkote 3 times and have had never had it come out with a decent finish all 3 times. 3 differnt cans, 3 different planes. Used the Hangar 9 paint once, and loved it! Just my opinion, but I'll tell you this, lusterkote is a bear to clean off so you can repaint.
