More streamy looking 4 Star 60
If you don't mind, I have one of those "wild hair" questions for all.
Everything I read about the SIG 4 Star 60 is leading me to have it become my next project.
I especially like all the building qualities of the plane as well as the finished product flying capabilities. The drawback is that I don't like the canopy location and bubbly look almost at the rear of the wing.
Here comes the "hair"!
What would you think if we could change the canopy to a more streamline unit than the bubble, and move it forward to give more of a pattern plane look or something like a Sig King Kobra, Patriot, Kougar, etc??
I like that look, but have not found a plane that shares those looks while having the 4 Star qualities. I don't believe that the actual building changes on the plane would be that hard to do, but I am not qualified to express an opinion on what it would do to the flying characteristics. Any opinions, insights, suggestions?
I am a early intermediate flier looking forward to build my own first low wing plane.
You know, the dangerous kind! When ideas get ahead of flying capabilities!
Thanks in advance for your time and experience!

You would be better off asking this in a different forum. This forum is for support of Wild HARE brand planes, not hair brained ideas! :-) As a side note, I don't think your changes will drastically effect the flying capabilites to the point where you'd really notice a difference. It would take a pretty skilled flyer to recognize the difference, so I would say have fun with your kit bashing!

Yes I think you are positing in the wrong place, however, I think what this guy did to his 4*40 would translate to your 60 just fine.
