I have a buddy that is building a morris pen knife. When the wing is laying flat one side sticks up at 1/4 of an inch. What can he do to make it flat. Is there a permenate fix or will this always be a problem. Thanks for the help.

Had the same thing happen on a wing I was building. (Balsa) I spritzed it repeatedly with 50% water & 50% amonia. After an hour of keeping it wet it got limber enough to bend. Weighted it down on a flat board and 24 hours later it was perfectly flat. This may not be what your asking, but what the hey.
