Help with prop selection for OS 46AX
Building the Tower Hobbies Fun-51 and I am trying to figure out which prop will be best. OS recommends 10.5x6, 11x6-8 or 12x6-7. This is a profile, fun-fly type of plane. Thanks

A lot of people like the 12.25x3.75. I do not care for them since they are so wide which makes them a bit slower to spool up to rpm. I prefer APC 11x4 and 12x4 on this type of combo. This is what works good for me on a FX rather than AX, but to each his own. Give them all a whirl and see what you like best. It is nice that 11 and 12 inch props are affordable and will allow experimentation, unlike $20-30 gasser props.

Thanks for all the input. I went ahead and ordered these props. 12.25x3.75, 11.5x4, 11x4 and 10.5x6. Hopefully one of them will turn out to be the best prop for the Fun-51 and the 46AX. Gene
