Hi everyone.

I am just doing the finishing work on my 4*40 ( radio install, engine, etc..) and was wondering how to attach the conopy. How do you guys do it? I was thinking of using small screws and the covering those with trim tape. Is this the way to do it, or do you guys have any better ideas? Thanks for the help.

U used small screws and trim tape. Some use some type of glue that doesn't mess up the canopy plastic.

The glue I use is called RC-56. It looks just like white glue, but it dries clear and rubbery

I cut the canopy down somewhat. I just thought it seemed too big for the plane. After the trim job, I used small screws and fastened the canopy and added tape. Worked O.K., but not great.

MinnF! Where do you get this glue??

RC-56 can be found at your hobby shop, i used it for my 4 star along with some trim tape to dress it up
