Got the Jenny, it's a bit more than I thought but that's good, you need to be pushed.
Anyone that's built their kits, I'm open for comments/suggestions.
TIA,
Steve

Steve, Sorry, I have never heard of them. I see that no one has jumped into comment so I am not alone. Who sells the DARE kits? I would like to take a look at them as a Jenny might be a neat adition to my hangar.

Sorry, forgot the link.

I got one at a local hobby store, Jenny was 63 bucks. Minimal instruction sheet, but the plans look ok. Not a beginners kit. I'm still looking it over and making a plan of attack.

Steve, Thanks for the link. I checked them out. They have a lot of kits and some of them are interesting. Most are small for my tastes and while I am not into electric flight yet they have few I might like to build. I assume that your Jenny has a pile of sticks big enough to build a small tool shed. Why don't you start a build thread on it when you get started. I would like to see how it builds.
I biikmarked the site and will revisit them to study their kit list in more detail. Thanks again,
Roger.

I am building a Dare C-119 Flying Boxcar. Dare makes a pretty good kit, they have an excellent choice of balsa, great laser cutting, but the manuals are not comprehensive. No pictures! Seems to be geared towards those who are experienced builders or scratch builders. But if you take your time studying the plans, I am sure you will be happy with the results.

I have done a dare jenny last year, it was a slow flyer with a 360 and a 3:1 box. I am now working on a dare PBY which is not for the faint hearted. Anyone that would like more info. on these builds let me know
