Default Opinions on this trim scheme for Super Chip?

I am trying to come up with a scheme for my super chip using yellow and black. Here is my first shot at it. I think the checks on the bottom of the wing are a bit small...makes it look too much like a taxi...but anyhow...thoughts? Honest opinions??

Here it is again with a bigger check on the bottom of the wing...I am also thinking of putting numbers on it and using some of the decals that come with the Goldberg Chipmunk (the Art Scholl decals) if they don't clash too much with the yellow and black...

When I was putting the scheme together I noticed that it looks like it should be sponsored by DeWalt (power tool maker), so I've been toying with the idea of putting the logo on the wing...the second pic shows it.

I don't know much about the super chip but I think it would look better black on white with red checkers, if your asking which is better as far as the actual size, I like the smaller ones.

It just needs the number "17" now for our Homeboy!
Would like to see a pic completed if you go this route-looks good.

I like the black and yellow look. But you know, those are Penziol colors and Penziol was the sponser of Art Schol. So if Art were alive today and flying his Super Chipmunk it might be black and yellow.

Hey, I never thought of Pennzoil being black and yellow now. I do like their logo, I think the decal that comes with the kit is black lettering with a red bell, I can't remember if it had blue in it or not...I'll have to look into using the current Pennzoil logo, that would really be cool to have a 2005 Art Scholl Super Chip! Anyone know how I might go about making a decal if I can't use the stock ones?
