How Heavy is your CG Extra 300
I just got a new digi scale for my planes and wondered if my Goldburg extra came out heavy. I have a Saito 150 5-cell battery and two servos for the elevator ready to fly (Never calm enough for the Maiden DOH) and it came in at 10 pounds 9 oz. The box claims 7.5 to 8.5 LBS but I have never seen a plane weigh what is claimed on the box. I guess I'm wondering..... Is my Extra heavy????

A guy in our club has your setup. The planes is old and has gained weight over the years due to many repairs. I don't know what it weighs, but it feels HEAVY !!! The things still flies extremely well.
I'm sure that you will be happy with your Extra.

I have the same setup too except using 4 cell. I suspect it is close to 10 pounds (I can confirm that if you would like). It flies great!

It sounds heavy to me. Mine came in at 8.5 lbs built in 1995 exactly like the instructions with an OS91FS.

FIBERGLASS COWL AND WHEEL PANTS AND LARGE WHEELS FOR GRASS FIELD
