Default Byron Ryan ST-A Engine ? And Build

I just picked up a Brand New in The Box Byron Originals Ryan ST-A. What engine would you guys recommend? The factory recommends a SUPER TIGRE 2500/3000, QUADRA 35/40 OR EQUIVALENT 2 OR 4 CYCLE . But that was back when the model was made. Any help would be greatly appreciated. In addition I am open for suggestions on building and paint scheme ideas. I have never built a Byron kit but have heard great things about them.

I'm probably going to run a 50cc engine on mine. I'm looking at a couple with the rear intake, but instead of using the Byron mount, I'll build a ply engine box. I'm also cutting a new inner cowl ring that is thicker, and a thicker firewall as well. The thin stock that Byron included is just a tad on the light side for me.
