I have a super tigre g 60 engine that I just refurbished and I need a plane from the range of 100 to about 250 dollars. I am looking for something sturdy, looks awesome, and in a kit. Please help.

There are a lot of kits on the market that will take your engine but it depends on your flying ability and your taste in models. The Sig 4-Star 60 is an excellent sport plane with some aerobatic ability but if you are looking at 3D or precision aerobatics, it just can't handle it. Give us a little more information.

The Super Sportster 60 Kit should not be overlooked for this application. www.towerhobbies.com has them for 124.99

From the sound of your ability, you seem like a prime candidate for a Tiger 60.
This airplane is very stable, but it will do any trick in the book should you decide to wring it out.

Top Flite's Contender 60 is still around $80 for the kit.
Fun plane and a good build. Covering is a little tricky if you build the angled wing-tips but not too difficult if you take your time and pull hard.
Flies very nice, and the apron flap is fun to experiment with (especially if you have a mixing transmitter and rig the ailerons to tip up on a trim switch. Pseudo-CROW for short field landings.

I would second the super sportster 60. It was my third plane and I still have it. Now 12 years old. Its pretty rugged and has a wide flight envelope. Later, add a super tiger .75 and it'll be a whole new plane again.
