Default Washout

I have been reading about people adding washout to Warbird planes on this web site. Such as the T/F P-40 Warhawk. My Question is how do you add it and how much due you put in? And What is it? Thank You Frank

Default Washout

Washout is a "twist" in the wingtips where the outer portion of the wings is twisted downward (leading edge below trailing edge) compared to the root of the wing. It prevents the plane from tip stalling, making it more stable at low speeds. See the Top Flite website Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for details on how to install washout both before and after covering.
