Default Hog Bipe

Hello all i have been reading this site for a few years now. Verry good site. My question i have a sig hog bipe that i have been working on for 2 years and i am cinda stalled at the moment. my problem is the alerons arnt the same length their off almoast 1 inch from one side to a nother. Dose that matter those wings were a chalenge for me Thanks .

Yes, the ailerons should be the same length on left and right wings. You need to examine the situation carefully and find out what the problem is. If it is a kit problem, Sig will correct it if you call them..Fred123[&:]

Is it both top and bottom wings? I would guess that the center trailing edge section was not glued in centered on the wing. If this is the case, find the center point of the wing and mark it on the trailing edge then measure the shortest distance, left or right from center, and cut the other side of the trailing edge section to match. This will result in your ailerons being slightly longer then normal, but should not be a big deal.

Thanks all i did build the wings on the plans and couldnt believe the end results about the alerons.
