Default cowl attachment

I am about to put my cowl on my Tiger Moth , should I attach it flush on the top of the fuse or should I leave it up a little to allow heat to get out?

You don't say which kit you have, but as a general rule, mount it flush with the top, but have a large cut-out on the bottom for airflow.
