m building one and I dont know which engine to buy? either a la 15 or a la 25?
Im thinking it will be too heavy with a 25, will the 15 pull it vertical?

I fly mine with an OS .25LA and it does very well at 1/2 throttle with a 9x5 prop. This is a great little bipe that takes a lot of abuse...I am a bit disappointed in the roll rate though...maybe bigger ailerons is in order. I think I'm going to get another kit and make some design changes.

I just started on one (my first kit YAY!) I have a OS .25 that I am going to use that I had lying around I was thinking of putting an OS .15 on it that I have but I dont know if it will power it (might try both as its the same motor mount)
I thought up a black and yellow color scheme (guinness BIPE
) that I'm going to try.
I put it in Realflight and it is pretty easy to see at distance.
what servos are you guys useing, I will probably go hitech because thats what my LHS has the most selection of.

I'm using HiTec hs-55s. I have stripped one but that was do to an unfortunate incident involving Olympic style floor exercise down the landing strip with my Bipe upon landing...other than that, no problems with these servos. My biggest complaint with this plane is its roll rate...it snaps like caca and rolls are S L O W!! I thought about making the ailerons bigger but I'm not sure that would help...Anyway, I think the .25 would do your Bipe well.

how hard is this kit to build and what about installing pushrods i have heard on some of these kits you have had to cut into the wing to lay the pushrods in wanting to buy one but not for sure any cons with the kit
