I acquired a mostly built Graupner Middle Stick. I have already cut the wings in half and eliminated the dihedral. I'm going to use one flap servo, and 2 aileron servos. I want to mount my OS 46FX on her, and lighten her up a bit. I'd like to swiss cheese the 1/4 balsa fuselage. Can I just drill some strategic holes in it with a hole saw? Or would I be better off carving rounded triangles out of the fuse? Any info on this plane?
