I'm thinking of putting a .60 2 stroke in the Great Planes Cap 232 .40. Is that way too much engine, or will it go along with that plane ok?
Thanks,

The Cap 580 would be a better choice for the .61 2 stroke. A .61 on the 232 might be a little too much and it would probably be a booger to get balanced. A good strong .46 or even a .50 would probably work better in my opinion.

Mine goes like a bomb with an OS 50 sx up front. I would recommend a 4s 70+ for 3D peformance tho. Mine harriers quite well on the 50 but it would be even better if it had a 14 or 15x4 instead of a 13x4.

I test-flew a cousin's with a T.Tiger 46 Pro in it, and it flew well with that combination. I built one and put in a K&B 61 Twist-Head, which is a fairly light engine, and the performance is very good. No balance problems that I can remember. It is a great little airplane.
