Default Need a .60 sized Pitts or Skybolt Bipe kit

I'm trying to track down a .60 kit for a Pitts or Skybolt. I'd really like to find a new-in-box SIG Skybolt kit or need to track down a manufacturer of a nice Pitts kit.

Can anyone recommend a nice .60 sized Pitts (or similar) kit ??

I checked kitcutters.com and they have 3 or 4 Pitts kits but I'd prefer to get a complete kit with hardware/plans/etc...

Thanks, Eric

Eric, the Great Planes Super Skybolt is one of the best flying bipes I've ever flown. And while I personally feel that it's a sacrilege to put a 2-stroke on one, a 60 will pull it very well

Ditto to what Mike said. If you can scrape up the cash, my Magnum 120 flys the SNOT out of mine.

If you're still looking for a NIB Sig SkyBolt, I've got one for sale.

Minnflyer,

Great video - thanks !! Looks like the .91 pulls it with authority and sounds great !! I'm at around 5000ft MSL so I loose some power on any give engine so I usually go for some overkill and end up just about right. The 1.10 at my altitude may equal a .91 at sea level - roughly I'm guessing.

I really like the effect of smoke but have never tried it....what system do you use ? - it looks like it works quite well.

Thanks, Eric

Hi,

I feel inadaquate now with only my GMS .76 [&o]

Someday I will give it a nose job and add a 120 4 stroke. Here are a few pics of mine. More with build pics on my website below if your interested.

Enjoy.
