Am building the 40 size GP J3 Cub and am well along on the biuild. Tonight I thought I'd try the cowl on for size and found that it is too small. Built several planes with cowls that all fitted quite well except for the usual cutting and trimming for motor, needle valve, exhaust ets. etc. I just can't see how this cowl will in any way fit over the nose sheeting/firewall and come anywhere close to being deep enough to fit the front bottom of the fuse. Am I going crazy, maybe wrong cowl put in kit? Has anyone come up against this
