I am building a 4*40. I didn't like the tailfeathers, so I made my own. What do you think?

The fin is attached by the post, through the fuse. This should make things stronger! Now I don't have to use triangle stock, thus keeping the plane looking nice. The post is spruce.

Another look...

Here is a close-up. The spruce stock fits into a pocket cut into the balsa. Epoxy was used here, and Med CA everywhere else.
