I will start building today the the Top-Flite T-34 mentor. One of the questions that bother me is the overall final weight
of the kit. Top-Flite claims in the user manual that for the model with all the options: flaps, robart 630 retracting gear, cockpit kit, motor 61-91 2 stroke, ultra coat covering and other accessories the total weight will not go over 14lbs (10-lbs). On the other hands I read
a lot of posts that the total weight that other people got was around 17-18lbs. I want to understand from where come the difference, if you build it according to the manufacture recommendations? Is it come from glassing?
