a good kit?

i just bought a comet super stars se.5 at an auction,are they a good kit or best left in the box?i cannot find any info on them here in the u.k.

Please let me know what you use to convert it, like motor, receiver, servos, ESC, etc. I recently bought 3 Comet kits. 2 are the 15 inch wing span models, and one is a larger P-38 Lightning. I plan to buy a few more after the New Year as I always liked Comet kits. I would sure like to electrify a few of them to 3 channels.

i intend to use a robotbirds.com brushless outrunner with esc which they have a deal on at the moment (it's only £19.50 for both !),supertec titch 50 servos (2 off),2s1p 360mah kokam lipo but undecided on rx as of yet.btw i think some of you guys should check out robotbirds.com as they do some unbelievable deals at the moment.happy christmas to you all.
