TF Sea Fury Flaps plan drawing flaw
Just thought I would post this it may help Sea Fury builders and possibly other 1/7 TF scale kits with flaps.
I had seen the discussion regarding the flap servo installation and discussed this with Fred123 as well. Seems if you install the servos the way the plan shows in the plan diagram of the right side servo position you would have to use a servo reverser to make them both work in the correct direction. In the building manual there is only one small picture showing the entire center wing and it is not in the flap section, the prototype has the right side servo in the opposite postion with the control rod on the right not the left as shown. So if you install the right servo opposite to the plan as the prototype has it and the left side as shown on the right plan (there is no left diagram) you can run both servos in the correct positions with no reverser needed as per the prototype.
Regards,
Jeff

RE: TF Sea Fury Flaps plan drawing flaw
It really makes no difference which way they are installed as long as the servos are facing in opposite directions. Look at the aileron servos on the plan ; they are facing opposite directions. No problem as far as I can see.

If you install them as mirror images, a reverser is required.. If you install them facing the same wing tip, a reverser is not required..Remember that the aileron servos move each aileron in opposite directions. Both flaps must move in the same direction. Fred123[&:]
